Around 11.40 a.m. on December 13, 2001, five armed terrorists drove an Ambassador car with a red light and an unreal house to enter the Parliament House Complex.
History
A heavy gunfight broke out between security personnel and the terrorists as they entered the premises with assault rifles. Many security men were tragically killed in the ensuing gunfight. Every terrorist was likewise shot to death. The country was rocked by the unprecedented 2001 Parliament attack, which resulted in worldwide criticism and calls for strict security measures.
The terrorists from Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Muhammed, who are located in Pakistan, were involved in the attack in 2001. In the meantime, information regarding the most recent incident that shook the Parliament is gradually coming to light.
Story
On Wednesday, 13th dec some related phases to incident of 2001 again, popped up to everyone's house. At zero hour in the lower house, two men alarming slogans leaped from the public gallery into the chamber and unleashed yellow gas from canisters. Announcing 'tanashahi nahi chalegi' and scattering colored gas from canisters outside the Parliament properties came two more people, one of them a woman.
Before the attackers inside the Lok Sabha were handed over to the security staff, MPs overpowered and physically attacked them. Even though the security error wasn't quite as serious as the 2001 terror violence, it brought back unsettling memories of that dreadful day.
