Italy Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is an Italian politician who has been serving as the prime minister of Italy since 22 October 2022, the first woman to hold this position. A member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2006, she has led the brothers of Italy political party since 2014, and she has been the president of the European Conservatives and Reformists Party since 2020.

In August, the journalist was criticized for his victim-blaming comments after a gang rape case. "If you go dancing, you have every right to get drunk - there shouldn't be any kind of misunderstanding and any kind of problem - but if you avoid getting drunk and losing your senses, you might also avoid running into certain problems and coming across a wolf," he stated, during his programme. After that episode, Meloni had stated that people should not judge her for the comments made by her partner and that she is not willing to answer any questions related to his behaviour in future.
