Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath offers prayers at Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand, earlier today: ANI Reported. Badrinath as well as, Kedarnath Temple Committee Chairman Ajay Ajayendra and other dignitaries welcomed Yogi by handing over a bouquet. Yogi's helicopter landed straight over to Kedarnath's Helipad.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered prayers at Kedarnath Temple on Sunday, 8th Oct. On a Three-day tour thousands of people chanted Jai Shri Ram and greeted the chief minister, an official statement issued in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow stated. Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra, Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad and Principal Secretary Tourism Mukesh Meshram were present on the occasion.
The priest community sprayed their blessings to CM Adityanath with the traditional chanting of mantras. Yogi visited Kedarnath Temple and wished for the welfare of the people of the country and the state, the statement mentioned.
Adityanath highlighted that "the Kedarnath and Badrinath religious temple now symbolize the spirit of the "New India" and represent the nation's integrity." He also highlighted the flexible nature of the local residents and praised the leadership of Prime Minister Modi in overcoming the 2013 disaster.
Past the day, CM Yogi visited the Sundar Nath cave in Badrinath Dham and offered prayers. On Saturday evening, CM Yogi attended the Shayan Aarti of Badrinath Dham, had 'darshan', and worshipped as per the rituals. He also participated in the meeting of the Central Regional Council held at Narendra Nagar in Tehri. After that, he visited various areas of Uttarakhand.
